Description
40 fragments. Max. dimension 2 x 2,5 cm; Min. dimension 0,5 x 0,8 cm.
Numerous layers of fabric are preserved, neatly stacked on top of one another. The threads appear flattened in cross-section and, due to varying degrees of flattening, show irregular dimensions. Parallel bands consist of three threads of system 2 (likely the weft), inserted into a single shed and separated by two sheds with single picks, following a 3:1:1:3 repeat. The arrangement in multiple overlapping layers, together with the condition of the fabric, limits the analysis of the pattern to the visible outermost layer.
