Description
attached on three sides (fig 00) to ?ground weave fragments 029/002, 029/003 and 029/004 with french seam: thread is loose low-twist 2-ply (not pairs), S-plied from weak Z-spun yarn c.0.5-0.6mm thick. Yarn glossy, almost black, of stiff fibres, possibly goat (cf under 027/001-002, 024/001 supra).
