Vindolanda

Vindolanda was a Roman fort located south of Hadrian's Wall in northern England. The site was occupied from c. 85 CE to c. 600+ CE. The Vindolanda textiles constitute the largest extant group of Roman textiles in the western provinces. Excavations are ongoing. For more information, visit www.vindolanda.com
