Description
1. linked to 026/002 with run-and-fell seam (ATN Guide p16), c.8-9mm wide and 190mm long (fig 00); stitch row 1 (invisible on worn cloth side 1) inserted before row 2 (shown in red); sewing thread S-ply, from 2 weak Z-spun yarns, worked as single thread; stitches at c.8mm intervals. Seam worn smooth both sides, so presumably original. Runs parallel to (i) warp of 026/002, oblique to weave of 026/001.
2. line of mostly missing stitches across corner of 026/001 towards seam with 026/002; holes approx. 10mm apart; remains of pale brown yarn in some (fig 00)
