Description
Amalgam of 2/2 diamond twills: 24/001 (Z/S (Z/S in alternating sequence), 14/12-13, repeat 14 (and 16)/7 [d1l, but irregular]), dark brown, nap both sides (worn on reverse) and 24/002 (Z/S, 16/12, repeat 14/7 [d1l/d1r]). Textiles sewn one upon the other (figs 00-00) with (1) 2-ply thread at straight edge and in knot, (2) coarse single yarn internally. Function of amalgam uncertain, but represents secondary use.
