Other features
Each net strand consists of three spliced yarns Z twisted round one another, diam. c.1.2mm. The mesh is 35mm x 35mm, measured along the sides.
A rectangle of 3 squares one way, 6 in the other, survives, together with fragments attached by a single thread. The rows of knots, seen across the diamond, are type 1 in one row, type 2 in the next, which is a simple reversal of type 1. (cf A. Veldmeiijer‚ fig.40, left hand diagram, upside down)
