Description
Embroidered roundel, diam. 34 x 29mm originally (oval, not round), surrounded by rays, on a different strip of cloth.
Embroidery yarn: blue ply, Z plied 3 ply from S single yarns.
Boss constructed from centre outwards in chain stitch. Centre raised slightly. There are 6 rows of chain stitch in spiral. The rays are constructed as running stitch on the back. The outer ring of the spiral may be a different, lighter, blue.
