Description
Thick band in wool, badly degraded.
"[C]onstructed using 12 four-hole tablets, each threaded in sequence with strong blue, pale brown, strong green and pale yellow Z-plied S-spun warp. The tablets (threaded from opposite sides alternately) were turned quarter turns between each insertion of the heavy plied brown weft, giving a polychrome zigzag effect" (Wild & Wild 2000, p. 262)
