Edges
Plain selvedge, round one bundle of 2 sets of Z plied 2 ply, S twisted together for the bundle. Length of selvedge 150 mm.

Description
The transverse edge is folded over once and roughly hemmed with irregular stitches in the same dark 2 ply goat (see drawing).
Second piece with selvedge, length 80 mm, and similar hem, rolled twice. Two lines of decorative yellow-orange interlocking stitching (see drawing). Decoration reversible. Large piece 90 mm x 140 mm, badly concreted, seems to have been hemmed and ?pleated into 2 pleats parallel to hem, i.e. parallel to weft of previous piece described. Held with rough, irregular stitches in standard dark brown Z plied 2 ply thread, sewn at all angles. HD 028: another piece of red goat-hair thread somehow associated. Yellow stitches: goat (*) ?sheep (Ababda)
