Hem: the raw edge of cloth, turned over twice, makes a hem c. 1 cm wide and 6 cm long. It is simply oversewn in a clumsy manner, the stitches spanning the whole hem. The light brown sewing yarn is 2-ply, S-plied from weak Z-spun yarns, c. 0.5 mm thick all told.
There are traces of 2 stitches in the body of the cloth.
