Description
Twined-cord starting border (probable), detached. No textile remains attached, except possibly a single S-spun yarn against, and parallel to, badly abraded border/bundles: might have been 2/2 diamond twill; but cf also TT/87/148 below, plain 2/2 Z/S (sic) twill, which is much darker brown but has yarns and count closely comparable (compared in hand). Surface matted in places, heavily degraded; pale brown colour
