First of 3 fragments of fine 2/2 diamond twill.
(1) possibly stronger spun than (2), but apparently lower count
Medium brown on obverse, lighter on (folded over) reverse; cloth now pulled obliquely, with damage, abrasion, holes; no nap, bare
Reverse side of fragment has a shredded and badly damaged layer of same web adhering, folded over on straight edge.
