Description
Textile A sewn to textile B on the bias. Length of seam c.130mm. Edges of both textiles turned under and hemmed together along both edges with cotton thread, Z plied from 2 S single yarns.
Boss (flower centre) embroidered across seam in at least 5 spirals of chain stitch, starting from centre of boss.
End knot projects through seam on wrong side, but otherwise embroidery all but invisible through seam, though visible through single layer of textiles A and B. Rays consist of single running stitches around boss.
Diameter of boss, over rays, 30mm.
