Reinforced selvedge over 3 bundles of 4. Selvedge width 8mm
In one case, where the weft pair returns around the three bundles for an extra pass before returning into the main cloth, it passes round 3 of the inner bundle of 4 warps. The 4th warp thread passes it by and can be seen running vertically round the end of the returning weft pair. How did this happen? Selvedge otherwise of QI type 2.
