FURTHER DETAILS

																						Pattern
Up against base of fringe are 13 shots of 3 weft, followed by single weft, followed by one more, final shot of 3 weft.
Too damaged to see exactly what fringe arrangement is, but some form of knotting to anchor groups of warp before they form a free fringe.
Occasional slightly thicker warp threads visible, to no pattern.
+ another series of scraps, perhaps c.40cm2 in all, of same or similar fabric.
																									Edges
				Plain selvedge.
													Selvedge type
				simple
