Other features
Both yarns a mixture of buff and dark chocolate brown fibres.
Sewing
Description
Parallel to the weft there are the remains of a hem, possibly held by stitches made using ?10 fine medium Z spun pale yarns, weakly S twisted together (wool). Looks like the Bedouin vari-coloured sheep. No deliberate decorative effect. Could be mixed sheep/goat fibres used indiscriminately, as with present-day Ababda. (Yellow = sheep, brown = goat) (Probably both sheep)
Notes from the original description
Fibre: goat hair or wool.
