Pondera RO158 bone spindle

Catalogue number Pondera RO158 Holding institution Adria, Museo Archeologico Nazionale Description Bone object of uncertain attribution, hypothetically recognizable as a spindle. The shaft has a circular cross-section, tapering towards the tip. The bulbous top is connected to the shaft by a molded neck with three circular incisions. The connection between the shaft and the tip is marked by a circular groove. The tip is not pointed but circular.
