Description
Clay spindle whorl, reddish beige in colour, refined. Coated with a very opaque black paint, tending towards reddish, diluted and not very tenacious, now almost completely removed, visible only on the side. Bitruncated conical body, very flattened at the bottom. Lathe-shaped. The hole is filled with compact, yellow-beige material (fire earth?). There is a fracture along the edge of the artifact, which is missing one side. Part of grave goods from TOMB 198.

Remarks
The material is not dated, nor is that from the same context. It is a cremation tomb whose grave goods include, among other items, a patera and a black-glazed olpe. ROMANIZATION?? - The minimum diameter measurement corresponds to the diameter of the upper base. - It should be noted that the ceramic mixture and coating, as well as the morphology, are entirely similar to specimen RO013, IG 12821, from the same tomb: SET of spindle whorls?
