FURTHER DETAILS
Fleece analysis
Thermal degradation with fusion of multiple elements and the loss of the surface scales. The fibres have an average diameter of 24 μm (min. 22–max. 50 μm). Where preserved, they show prominent scales with smooth margins.
Sporadic fibres with a diameter greater than 45 μm display the disappearance of the central medulla.
