Description
An exceptionally fine dark brown diamond twill. System (1) yarns very close set. The weave is very difficult to follow without destructive analysis , since the yarns of System (1) are closely interlocked and cover System (2). The smaller fragments Inv. nos 74-77 add up to c. 50cm2.

Reverse with full displacement after (probably) 11 threads of System (2), 10 threads of System (1). While the reverse in System (1) is certain, that in System (2) is less so; for the draft I have assumed reverse after 11.
