Description
A fragment of black 'hairy' plain weave. In places the hairs stand out on the surface of the cloth: but the textile is so badly damaged that this is impossible to interpret. It may not be a deliberate effect.
Despite the coarse weave the fabric seems too soft to have been sacking.
