3 lengths of cord in an animal (?goat) fibre. 2-ply, Z-plied (sic) (low twist) from 2 weak S-spun yarns (each 1-1.75mm thick): pieces 80mm, 75mm and 70mm long. Fibre: ?coarse, smooth, round, continuous, 2-ply plaited hair. sem reveals that the fibres are probably not wool? (cc comments). [sem micrographs 93/(39/2 and 45/7)].
Supplementary yarn has low twist z ply, weak s spun singles.
