Description
Length of twisted cord, 70 mm long, diam. 4 mm.. Primary unit: weak/medium Z spun wool. Vari-coloured fibres, mostly blue-green, some purple, a few undyed. Diam. 0.5 mm. 2 of these strands medium S-plied together.
This 2-ply unit is twisted back upon itself for c.20 mm in Z direction at one end of main cord. Same thing seems to happen at other end of unit. Main cord consists of 5 such doubled back plied strands. Definitely doubled back at both ends, so object only 70 mm long originally.
Thickness 4 mm.
