Description
Two recomposed fragments of polished bone, hypothetically recognizable as the upper extremity of a distaff face. The shaped head is the only preserved part. It consists of a double molded collar at the base, supporting an egg, which is in turn surmounted by a second funnel-shaped molding supporting a smaller egg. Part of the grave goods from TOMB 2.

Tomb 2 is part of a series of Roman cremation tombs. From the excavation log. "(Tomb) consisting of a patch of black, carbonaceous earth with carbon fragments of burnt bones: cremation on site, without collection of bones. Among the materials: two pinheads or ridge needles, perhaps silver IG 11382 - 11385; a pin element in white bone IG 11383; a bronze disc, perhaps a mirror, in addition to IG 11384."
