Fleece analysis
The fibres have an average diameter of 40 μm (min. 16–max. 56 μm). Where preserved, the scales display prominent edges with smooth margins. In the sample, elements with a diameter greater than 25 μm show the disappearance of the central medulla. Fusion of multiple fibres, and in some cases their breakage, is also observed.
