Description
The fragment is composed of multiple overlapping layers of different fabrics. Only a small portion of the half-basket weave is visible on one side of the fragment, whereas a 2/2 twill weave is predominantly observed. No type of structural connection between the two textiles can be determined.
The fibres lie parallel within the threads. The threads appear shiny and smooth.
