The fragment shows areas at an advanced stage of carbonization, where the fabric appears hardened and compact. The textile is folded into approximately 30 superimposed layers.
Over the fabric in a half-basket weave, multiple layers of tabby weave are preserved. Any connection between the two textiles cannot be determined.
