Lyon Saint-Georges

A group of 16 river boats dating from the first to the eighteenth century CE were excavated in Lyon, France, on the right bank of the SaƓne River. Six boats belong to the Gallo-Roman period. Textiles used for caulking and other purposes were preserved on most of them (LSG2, LSG3, LSG4, LSG7, LSG8).
